You heard it here first.
Apparently, Helen Mary Jones thinks the massive backlog in NHS estates is not worth talking about or fixing.
The Welsh Lib Dem motion to the Assembly yesterday brought to light the shocking £468 million backlog in repairs to NHS estates in Wales and called on WAG to bring forward plans to bring them up to standard.
In her contribution she dubbed this debate as ‘pointless’. Clearly this is not pointless, in fact it is a matter of particular concern for all those people who have been treated in facilties not fit for purpose.
To echo Jenny Randerson’s summation yesterday, if you are one of these people then perhaps Helen Mary Jones and her party’s government need to hear about your experience.
