Nick and Kirsty Q and A session

Peter has some videos on his blog from last nights Q and A session with Nick Clegg and Kirsty Williams.

It was the first time the party has tried this new format. It seemd to work really well with people appreciating the interactive element and the chance to put questions direct. The two were quizzed on a good range of subjects including young people, care support, MPs’ expenses and the right to protest.

There is a really good mood here at conference, the launch of Liberal Youth Wales is later and their work is clearly paying off. Perhaps one of the reasons so many young people are attracted to the party is because we didn’t tell them we were opposed to the introduction of top up fees and then perform a u-turn when we were in Government.

Update: Nice to know the Plaid staffers over at Welsh Ramblings were watching the Q and A, not very closely though because there wasn’t any booing. Banter and fun would be more accurate
