All Conference Reps (including all Local Party Chairs, Secretaries, Membership Secretaries, Councillors and all those nominated by local parties, as well as anyone sitting on a party committee) should now have recieved ballot papers for the by election for three places on the Finance and Management Committee. This is a relatively new committee, which was set up as a key reccomendation of the Constitutional Review last year.
This Committee is responsible for budget monitoring, staffing issues and other really important areas of the running of the party.
Four people are chasing three spaces. They are, in alphabetical order:
Jon Burree
Dominic Hannigan
Kevin O’Connor
Mark Young
If you have not recieved a ballot paper and think you should have, contact Ian Walton at HQ through the usual channels.
The closing date for return of ballots is 29th May.
