No vote, no voice – so make sure you use yours.

Today is polling day. Polls are open between 7am and 10pm. If you have a postal vote you can take it along and pop it in the box at your local polling station (please don’t give it to a party worker, them handling votes isn’t the way democracy is meant to work).

If you don’t know where you nearest polling station is your local council should be able to help – so give them a call.

The day started well for the Lib Dems with the Indy supporting us in their leader. This adds to the Guardian*, Observer and, clothes pegs ready, Polly Toynbee.

Here is some mood music for the day.. it possibly has some further context for Brown.
The Final Countdown

* Note to Welsh Ramblings, someone writing in the Guardian they will be voting for you is not the paper doing it. They say that in the leaders/editorial. EDIT: I see Marcus has already picked up on this.
