This email detailing fab’ ways to get involved in Conference in Bournemouth just dropped into my inbox. It’s well worthy of wider circulation. Here at Freedom Central we are looking for people who want to tell us about their experiences at Federal Conference by blogging or recording it on Flip’s. If you would like to be one of those people get in touch. Â You can get full details of the Federal Conference agenda, including when Kirsty is set to speak here.
Even if you can’t join us at our conference in Bournemouth, you can still take part.
The conference features three Question & Answer sessions, where questions are welcome from all Party members, whether you’re there in person or not.
* Sunday 20th September (afternoon) – with Nick Clegg MP, the Leader of the Liberal Democrats
* Monday 21st September (morning) – Crime Policy: Panel including Chris Huhne MP (Shadow Home Secretary), Jan Berry (Independent Reducing Bureaucracy Advocate), Juliet Lyon (Director, Prison Reform Trust) and Professor Larry Sherman (Wolfson Professor of Criminology, University of Cambridge)
*Tuesday 22nd September (afternoon) – The Economy: Panel including Vince Cable MP (Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer), Jeremy Purvis MSP (Scottish Liberal Democrat Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth), Cllr Howard Sykes (Leader, Oldham Council) and Liam Halligan (Chief Economist of Prosperity Capital Management and Economic commentator, ‘Sunday Telegraph’)
If you can’t make it to Conference, you can still send questions to ask.
For the session with Nick Clegg, email ask {at} nickclegg(.)com, post them on facebook.com/nick.clegg Nick’s Facebook site or send them via Twitter to @nick_clegg . The deadline is 12.40, Sunday 20th September.
And you can email questions to the Crime or Economy sessions to questions {at} libdems.org(.)uk no later than 17.00 on Thursday 17th September.
In all cases, please keep your questions concise – 25 words maximum. If you are going to conference, please submit your questions onsite rather than by this route. See the agenda for details.
