Welsh Lib Dem Conference in Wrexham 16th – 18th October

Party members with a working email address should have recently received the email that follows with details of the Welsh Lib Dem’s autumn conference in Wrexham.  When we were last in Wrexham a few years ago the Ramada hotel put on an impressive display. It’s totally unofficial as a recommendation but I’d suggest staying there if you can. If it is a bit pricey so see if there is someone you can share with.

The Welsh Liberal Democrat Autumn Conference will this year be returning to Wrexham. Conference itself will be running from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October at Glyndwr University. Conference Representatives and Local Parties will shortly be sent details of the motions which have been selected onto the preliminary agenda and will be invited to submit amendments. If you want any more information about Conference Motions or Amendments, please speak to Ben Lloyd, the Party’s Policy Officer on 029 2031 3649 or ben.lloyd@welshlibdems.org.uk.

A copy of the members’ registration form is also attached to this email and will also be available from the Diary Section of the Party’s Website (www.welshlibdems.org.uk). The Headquarters Hotel will be the Ramada Plaza Hotel. They have rooms at the following special rates: £78.00 per night for single occupancy or £88.00 per night for double occupancy. For Conference Attendees who wish to book accommodation you can contact the Ramada Plaza’s Reservations Manager, Betty Hicks on 01978 293 620 or betty.hicks@ramadaplazawrexham.co.uk and quote reference LIB161009.  To receive the special rate offered, bookings must be made direct to the hotel.

You don’t need to be a Conference Representative to attend the Conference, all members of the Party are welcome to attend what will be the last Autumn Conference before the General Election. If you need any more information about any aspect of Conference, please contact Ian Walton, Party Manager, on 029 2031 3400 or ian.walton@welshlibdems.org.uk
