As the New Year gets underway it is worth reflecting on the opening shot from the new First Minister, Carwyn Jones.
He has told the nation that the key to Wales’ success as a country depends on the education and skills of its people. If that is the case then no doubt we will expect changes to next year’s fiinancial plans to reverse the 5% real term cut to further and higher education budget that Labour and Plaid Cymru have imposed.
