Like what you saw from Nick and Kirsty? Here’s how you can get in on the action #feetfirmlyontheground

Thursday night saw *that* debate. The general agreement, from all parties was that Nick Clegg performed extremely strongly – especially when compared to Brown and Cameron. Kirsty did a follow up on Dragon’s Eye which is also attracting considerable praise

There’s been a surge of interest from the public since they have heard more from Nick and more about the Liberal Democrats. If you are one of them; then you can find out how to get involved on the Welsh Liberal Democrat website. Seats up and down Wales need help, financially and in person. It’s important that Liberal Democrats keep their feet firmly on the ground.  Winning the debate was brilliant, but that isn’t winning the election. There are still over 20 days for voters to be persuaded..,, so if you want in on the action get in touch.

Sunday’s papers will be interesting. There is talk of increased scrutiny of Lib Dem policies as perplexed Tories and Labour advisors ponder the best way to respond to the extra choice many voters voters are warming too. Personally I think that is a good thing, policies need to stand up to scrutiny and the party has spent considerable time making sure they are robust enough to do so. Repeated polls are showing the Lib Dems’s coming second (and in one case first). Watch to see for any sniping amongst the Conservatives. Already one of the most senior Tories in Public Affairs, Peter Bingle of Bell Pottinger fame is suggesting some heads need to roll.
