A Neath based rock band fronted by a Coedffranc Community Councillor has received high praise in the latest edition of Classic Rock magazine.

The review of the Psycho Kiss’ album ‘Monkeying Around’ by Malcolm Dome describes it as ‘one of the best debuts of 2012’. Welsh Liberal Democrats Community Councillor, Helen Ceri Clarke is described as having a ‘voice with depth clarity and punch’ .

Other members of the band are Swansea-based guitar teacher, Paul O’Brien, instrument repairer, Marvin Medwell and drummer and auxillary nurse, Mark Penfold Powell from Neath.

The band have been playing local clubs in South Wales for some time and produced their first album earlier this year. They will be playing venues in Paris and Venice next year and hope to be touring the UK at some stage in 2013.
