			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, the Severnside Lib Dems have reached a conclusion on the Severn Barrage. <p><a target="_blank" href="http://welshlibdems.org.uk/documents/files/A%20Tidal%20Solution%20-%20The%20Way%20Forward.pdf">The report itself</a> is pretty readable, as these things go. Its argument makes a lot of sense. It would of course, be  a change of policy for the party on either side of the estuary, and will need to be voted on at conference in the Autumn.</p>
<p>My own approach to the question of Severn energy has been to ask, What would Brunel do?  But on balance, I don&#8217;t think Brunel would have been so bothered about the fish.</p>
<p>Should make for interesting discussions over the weekend.</p>
